• We spent a wonderful week in this flat in March 2009. The flat is a studio - one large room, but it's well divided so that it feels cosy. The furnishings are quirky and delightful, many of them made of metal, in keeping with the location. There's a lovely little roof terrace which we used a lot, despite it being March. It was great having a washer since we were there for a week. The location is terrific. It's on a quiet street, just between one of the main streets of the North Laine and the Level. Pretty much anything you'd want to do in Brighton is within walking distance, including the train station. We had a rental car and had no trouble parking it nearby. The only problem we had was several nights in a row, after the pubs closed, there was a couple having screaming fights in German on the street below. But this is something you could encounter anywhere, so we didn't hold it against the flat, itself.All in all, I would happily stay there again and I have recommended it to friends several times. • Stunning, quirky flat situated in a relatively quiet road seconds from the wonderful North Laines. Had a wonderful relaxing holiday and the balcony is a real suntrap. • We had such a great time at the Metalworks! It’s the perfect size for two people, has all the kitchen appliances one may need, it’s all in a very good state. The bathroom is perfect too. • I just want to say what a pleasure it was to stay at metalworks. As you know I had a tricky situation where I was waiting for the completion to my flat so it was an anxious & stressful time. I found that all the staff at City Pad especially Rachel were fantastic! Debs at PTG & Sarah the property manager were absolutely brilliant! Especially when I had to extend my stay by a week. I emailed City Pad late on a Friday night & received a response within a couple of hours! I was not expecting that so was thrilled for the quick response which helped remove some of the stress.
